Civil Society Mensa Serbia
invite you to
The Fourth International professional and scientific Conference “Gifted and family, learning and business environment”
Novi Sad, Serbia
23 – 25 October 2020
Venue: Amphitheater of the Rectorate of the University of Novi Sad (Dr Zorana Djindjica 1, Novi Sad, Serbia).
The aim of the conference:
The aim of this year’s conference is to consider the relationship between the phenomenon of giftedness and those factors that directly affect its recognition, support, development and full realization. These factors are the family, the education system and the business environment in which giftedness can manifest itself in different domains. We want to encourage discussions, research and case studies of good practice that will contribute to a more favorable environment for the development of gifted and creative individuals in our society. We want the conference to be a place to learn from international experiences and the multidisciplinary approach of professionals, practitioners, educational professionals, employers, policy makers and anyone interested in the phenomenon. In addition to the significant topics related to the family, educational and business environment, all of which interact with giftedness, this year we want to pay special attention to examples that vividly show how gifted, creative and innovative individuals in a (non)supportive environment can(‘t) demonstrate their abilities.
The conference is intended for pre-school and school teachers, psychologists, educators, special education teachers, medical doctors, employees in public services and administration, media workers, students and others who engage in their work with gifted children, youth and adults, both from Serbia and from abroad.
